OUR COUNTY
Bulloch County, Georgia
Established in 1796 and named after the Provincial Governor of Georgia, Archibald Bulloch, Bulloch County has a rich history of people and their stories.
Early settlers were made up of herdsmen and small-time farmers. With their determination and dream, they built what is now the 8th largest of Georgia’s 159 counties.
Our “A Hideway Tidbit” video series features 75 short-form video history segments. Originally produced during the COVID global pandemic, the series served as a way to continue to connect the Bulloch County Historical Society’s membership. We invite you to learn from and enjoy these videos.
