Looking for 1984 Heritage Tour of Homes — BCHS Publication

The Bulloch County Historical Society published scores of monographs on a wide range of subjects of interest to Society members and the general public. Many of these publications go back to the 1970’s and 1980’s and have long-since been out-of-print and no longer accessible.

In order to cure this need, the Society, under the direction of Dr. Bede Mitchell, a member of the Society’s board and chair of the publications committee, is spearheading the effort to digitize all of the back-issues published by the Society so that the contents will be available online, can be easily emailed, and could even be reprinted if needed.

“We are in the home stretch of our project of digitizing all the BCHS monographs, but we have hit one snag,” Bede says, “Our copy of the 1984 Heritage Tour of Homes cannot be digitized. Do any of you own a copy we could borrow for a few days, or do you know anyone who might have a copy? I do not see a copy listed in the Statesboro Regional Library PINES catalog,” he added.
